Document Description
Permittee proposes to rehabilitate the existing Spring Garden Bridge and Overhead on SR 70. The rehabilitated Bridge will maintain the existing Bridge alignment. The rehabilitated bridge structure will provide a 12-ft wide lane in each direction, with eight-ft-wide shoulders. The existing Metal Beam Guard Rail and approach rail will be removed and upgraded to meet standard. Existing paint will be removed and existing girders will be repainted. Ice warning conduit and conductors will be relocated within the widened roadway. The existing concrete bridge deck will be replaced. Abutments 1 and 8 will be widened. All of the bents will be widened to support the wider bridge.
