The planned Deviation from the 2003 Prado Dam interim Water Control Plan proposes to increase the surface water elevation of the buffer pool from elevation 498 to elevation 505 feet during the flood season to increase water conservation at Prado Dam. During the non-flood season the buffer pool will continue to operate at surface water elevation 505 feet.
