Document Description
The Ventura County Waterworks District No. 8 (District) is proposing the Crown Hill Pump-Tank System Project to provide a higher elevation tank and increase water storage serving the Santa Susana Knolls neighborhood (Knolls). The proposed facilities are: Crown Hill Pump Station - Two pump units, each rated at 300 gpm, 110 feet lift, and 10 horsepower; Crown Hill Tank - One welded-steel tank with a diameter of 72 feet, a height of approximately 36 feet, a storage capacity of 1 million gallons, a high-water elevation (HWE) of 1490 feet, and a pad elevation of 1458 feet; Water Line - 1,100 feet of 8-inch water line; Pressure Reducing Station - An interconnection between the proposed Crown Hill Tank (HWE 1490 feet) and the existing Alta Vista Tanks (HWE 1404 feet) allowing hydraulic interoperability.
