Document Description
The Palos Verdes Reservoir was removed from service and its deteriorated floating cover was dismantled in 2011.
Upon dewatering significant damage was detected in the reservoir's gunite-concrete lining. This project will remove the existing gunite liner, replace the floating cover, install a new sub-drain system, and install a new concrete liner. Additional improvements include modification of the existing outlet tower to improve seismic stability, replacement of valves, updating to Water Quality laboratory, and replacement of the aging chemical feed system.
