Acquire in-fee a 153 acre meadow located at the headwaters of the Little Truckee River in Sierra County. Coppins Meadow is one of he last remaining large unprotected parcels in this high elevation montane meadow system. Preservation of the property enhances wildlife habitat, and provides public benefit in the form of open space, recreation, adaptation to climate change, and water supply. The acquisition will protect the property in perpetuity.
