Butte Water District proposes idling up to 3,350 acres of rice land to make available up to 11,055 acre-feet of water and/or proposes pumping from two electric wells located in Sutter County up to 5, 50 acre-feet of water for sale to entities south of the Delta. If Butte Water District's water supplies are curtailed in 2015, it will not participate in the land-idling component of the transfer.
