Document Description
Browns Valley Irrigation District seeks environmental approval to have PG&E provide three-phase electric power (12 kV) to a 60 HP lift pump in order to replace a diesel generator currently being used to provide power for irrigation. All power poles along approximately 5,000 linear feet of existing overhead 12 kV distribution line will be reframed and reconductored with new wire. Approximately 2,700 linear feet of underground power line will be installed within pasture land. Three pull boxes will be installed and spaced at 800 foot intervals between the last power line pole and the pump station. Installation of the electric service is anticipated to last no longer than 3 weeks and will be limited to the overhead line work, pulling of new cable through the installed underground conduit, and transformation installation.
