Document Description
The California Department of Transportation (Department) proposes to Re-grade Median Cross Slopes inside the clear recovery zone from existing 6:1 or steeper gradients in the direction of 10:1 or flatter, and drainage improvements & modifications in the median. Preserve and improving the existing California Highway Patrol (CHP) crossovers on Interstate 40 (I-40) from Junction 15/40 post mile 0.0 (PM 0.0) to 1.4 mile east of Fort Cady Road Overcrossing post mile 25.0 (PM R25.0) in San Bernardino County. The total length of the project is twenty-five miles.
