The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2014-0245-R4, pursuant to section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, Westervelt Ecological Services. The project is limited to installing a water intake on the western bank of Los Banos Creek to receive water deliveries for the Grasslands Mitigation Bank from the Central California Irrigation District and Grasslands Water District. The intake will consist of a pipe inlet and pre-fabricated concrete box riser, surrounded by rock slope protection. Concrete wingwalls may be installed on either side of the box riser. The pipe inlet will be installed below existing channel grade and a sump will be excavated in front of the inlet. The pump will be located outside of the creek.
