Document Description
Mendocino County proposes to install a 120'-long prefabricated 8' nominal width weathering steel truss style pedestrian bridge with a concrete walking surface. The new bridge will replace the function of a 3' wide cantilevered wood and steel walkway that was attached to the north side of the bridge to provide safer passage for pedestrians, off the travelled way. The existing walkway and, ultimately, the proposed 8' walkway are important safety features for the local community. The pedestrian bridge provides a safer path for school traffic, and the local business on Branscomb Road.
