The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2014-0415-RX, pursuant to section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, Contra Costa Resource Conservation District.
The Project is limited to the construction of a 184 linear foot fish-way notch through a previously existing 36 linear foot inlet apron within the upper 148 linear feet of an existing western, culvert bay. The fish-way notch will form and install approximately 13 angled concrete baffles. A 34 linear foot concrete training wall will be installed on the upstream apron and a 30 linear foot retaining wall will be installed on the downstream apron. A notched sill will also be installed on the downstream end of the culvert outlet to allow raised pooled water levels.
