Document Description
The City has identified seven roadway segments with gaps in sidewalks along Camino Del Mar, Jimmy Durante Boulevard, and Via de la Valle. The project will include the relocation or reduction of roadway medians to relocate lanes and the construction of curbs, gutters, pedestrian ramps, and sidewalks to improve pedestrian circulation. A traffic circle is proposed at the intersection of Jimmy Durante Boulevard and San Dieguito Drive. This project will also accommodate the landscaping of newly created parkway areas in compliance with the City's Streetscape Plan. All construction activities, including staging of equipment, will occur within the existing rights-of-way or on adjacent. City-owned or leased parcels, within previously disturbed areas.
