Document Description
SWRCB will be issuing a water supply permit. The Crescenta Valley Water District proposed project includes operating a 350 ft deep 400 gallon/minute groundwater well that was drilled in 2011 and constructing and operating 1,200 lf of 8 in water main that will connect the well to a nitrate removal plant. The connection will provide for the treatment of water that exceeds the MCL for nitrate. The project will also include the construction and operation of a vertical turbine pump and motor, a small building enclosure, above and underground ground discharge piping and flow turbine pump and motor, a small building enclosure, above and underground discharge piping and flow meter, electrical and telemetry systems to control the pump, concrete paving, fencing, and emergency lighting.
