Document Description
CDFW has executed lake and streambed alteration agreement no. 1600-2015-0019-R3, pursuant to section 1602 of the fish and game code to the project applicant, Marin Municipal Water District. The overall project involves stabilizing a portion of the Permittee's water line that runs with the Cross Marin Trail, above and perpendicular to the creek culvert. During the water line stabilization an existing failing 90-ft long corrugated metal pipe culvert in Jewell Creek will be removed and replaced with a new arched bottomless culvert. The new culvert will be 11-ft wide, 5-ft, 9-in tall, and approximately 90-ft long. Two new concrete footings will be installed in the streambed/bedrock to support the spanning bottom less culvert. Five new grade control rock weirs will be installed in the streambed to maintain a 4% grade through the reach to facilitate fish passage.
