The project proposes to rehab the mainline roadway & on and off-ramps on I-580 from one mile east of North Flynn Road (PM 4.9) in Alameda County to the San Joaquin County line (PM 0.0) in the EB direction, and from the San Joaquin County line (PM 0.0) to 0.2 mile east of Greenville Rd Overhead in Alameda County in and near the City of Livermore (PM 7.8) in the westbound direction. A portion of I-205 in both the EB (PM 0.0/1.0) and WB directions (PM 0.0/1.0) is proposed to be rehabilitated. This includes removing existing surface pavement and installing a new surface layer. This project also proposes to install additional highway safety features such as rumble strips, metal beam guard rails, and concrete barriers.
