Document Description
This project proposes to rehabilitate the mainline roadway, and on and off-ramps on I-580 from one mile east of North Flynn Road (PM 4.9) in Alameda County near the City of Livermore to the San Joaquin County line (PM 0.0) in the eastbound direction, and from the San Joaquin County line (PM 0.0) to 0.2 mile east of Greenville Road Overhead in Alameda County in and near the City of Livermore (PM 7.8) in the westbound direction. A portion of I-205 in both the eastbound (PM 0.0/1.0) and westbound directions (PM 0.0/1.0) is proposed to be rehabilitated. This includes removing existing surface pavement and installing a new surface layer. This project also proposes to install additional highway safety features such as rumble strips, metal beam guard rails, and concrete barriers.
