Document Description
The Project consists of the installation of 9.2 miles of recycled water pipeline approximately six (6) to 20 inches in diameter to serve areas of the 3,800 acres of residential landscape and agricultural land within the District. The pipeline network will be constructed within existing roadways. The construction of new pipelines includes excavation, pipe placement, backfilling, and the restoration of roads damaged by construction. Excavated materials resulting from site preparation would either be used on-site during construction or disposed of at a fill area authorized by the Napa County Department of Public Works.
The Project will serve approximately 3,800 acres of irrigable land within the District with a recycled water supply of approximately 1,300 acre-feet per year (AFY) that meets Title 22 unrestricted use requirements. Recycled water users within the District will connect their own pipeline, irrigation systems, and facilities to provide the recycled water to their private lands and fields.
