Document Description
The project includes construction of water facilities necessary to serve the City of San Ramon's Northwest Specific Plan (NWSP) Area, the primary component of which is the Faria Preserve Community development. Facilities to be constructed include a new 1.6 million gallons per day Faria Pumping Plant, new 0.5 million gallon twin Faria Reservoirs and associated inlet/outlet pipeline, and approximately 10,000 feet of transmission/distribution pipeline and necessary piping to connect residences and other structures within the Faria Preserve Community development to the transmission pipelines. EBMUD's major water facilities were includes in the environmental documentation for the NWSP/Faria Preserve Community Project prepared by the City of San Ramon, including the NWSP & Faria Preserve Community EIR and the IS/MND for the Faria Community Preserve Project.
