This project is designed to significantly reduce future erosion of fine-grained sediment comprising the bed and banks of a 610-foot reach of a seasonal creek and simultaneously restore floodplain function. This seasonal stream is a non-salmonid-bearing tributary of Sonoma Creek, near Sonoma in Sonoma County. The project has been developed at the initiative of the landowner.
