Document Description
The project is limited to reconstruction of approximately 220-feet of the Bidwell Bar Bridge access road and embankment, the replacement of a 24-inch in diameter drainage pipe, and clearing and grubbing of approximately 0.5 acresof hillside to install a high strength geogrid. Re-construction of the 220 feet of access road and embankment will require the construction of a temporary road in order to access the toe of the damaged embankment. A keyway will be constructed at the toe of the embankment to insure slop stability. The existing access road will be excavated and re-constructed with a 1.15:1 slope and will be reinforced with high strength geogrid, a heavy duty erosion control fabric and hydro-seeding.
