Document Description
The Central Valley Water Board revised and reissued the Waste Discharge Requirements General Order for Milk Cow Dairies R5-2007-0035 in order to comply with the appellate decision in "Associacion de Gente por el Agua v. Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board (2012) 210 Cal. App 4th 1255". The reissued general order incorporates a more robust monitoring program, adds findings to bring the General Order into compliance with the State Water Control Board Resolution 68-16 (Statement of Policy with Respect to Maintaining High Quality of Waters in California), and adds to or clarifies provisions regulating dairy ponds, production areas, and land application areas.
