Document Description
Currently a steep and unimproved access road provides the only access to the Carnelian Woods water tanks. The upper portion consists of a steep (15%~grade), unpaved access road that is partially located within a stream environment zone (SEZ). The project consists of realigning approximately 750 feet of the upper portion of the access road to a less steep, paved road 650 feet long with implemented best management practices. The lower portion of the road will receive asphalt grindings and implemented best management practices. The purpose of the project is to reduce erosion, sediment flow, and surface water runoff.
