Document Description
The proposed project entails development of a County adult jail (Type II adult detention facility) with a total of 158 cells (including medical cells) to supplement the existing County jail, with associated features, including parking and infrastructure improvements. The existing detention facility will likely be repurposed by the County as a day reporting center for alternative sentencing commitments, for staff offices and/or equipment and materials storage. Project site totals 7.8 acres, of a larger 27 acre property situated on a portion of APNs 053-642-530, -520, 053-651-760, -750, -770.
