Document Description
The City's Buena Vista Creek (BVC) Enhancement Project is being proposed to provide restoration to a section of BVC, including the provision of a nature trail along the restored creek channel. Specifically, the 2,000-linear-foot site (approximately 1.44 acres) of the proposed project is located entirely within City-owned Brengle Terrace Park at 1200 Vale Terrace Drive, immediately north of Vale Terrace Drive, between Ponderosa Drive and Vale Terrace Place. Project plans include removing non-native trees stumps and an existing pedestrian bridge structure, upgrading or replacing two other pedestrian bridges, installing an Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)-compliant pedestrian trail, designing and constructing permanent water quality best management practices (BMPs), revegetating riparian and upland areas with native plants, and providing finished grading, as necessary, to support the proposed restoration of this section of BVC.
