The Burton School District plans to purchase approximately 12 acres of land to construct a New K-8 school campus designated by APN 240-070-018. The master plan capacity for the new school site will be 556, including 29 full time staff members. The Project will include 18 classrooms; 12 standard classrooms (960 sf), 2 kindergarten classrooms (1,152 sf), 1 science room (1,152 sf), 1 music classroom/stage (1,057 sf), and 1 computer lab (1,018 sf), totaling 18,203 sf of classroom space. The Site will also include an administrative building, kitchen, 100 car parking lot, kindergarten play ground, outdoor hard courts and grass play field with a baseball and softball field. The Multi-Use building will also have an indoor basketball court. A 100 car parking lot will be located on the west border of the site.
