Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife is executing a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the Project applicant, Michael Mayes. The Project includes the construction of a rural road over a seasonal tributary to Ownes Creek. The road will be constructed over two parallel 65-foot by 40--foot arched, corrugated steel pipes, approximately 35 feet in length. Approximately 3 cubic yards of material will be excavated from the streambed and banks in order to install the culverts. Approximately 250 cubic yards of fill will be placed on and around the culverts to construct the road base and driving surface. At the upstream end of the culverts there a precast concrete headwall will be installed. At the downstream end, each culvert will be fitted with a flared outlet and rip rap apron, consisting of approximately 16 cubic yards of 12 inch diameter D50 rock, placed over filter fabric.
