The project is located in the community of River Pines, Amador County and El Dorado County, CA and lies within Section 14, T8N, R11E, MDB&M and Meridian shown on the "Aukum, CA" U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) 7.5 minute topographic quadrangle (Figure 1). The project site is at the RPPUD water extraction and treatment facilities property, 15077 Shenandoah Valley Road (APN No. 014-085-006-000), (Figure 2). The point of permitted water diversion is located East 850 feet and North 3,200 feet from SW corner of Section 14 in the SW 1/4 of NW 1/4 of Section 14, T8N R11E MDB&M.
