Document Description
The project is the preparation and adoption of a Downtown Specific Plan for the Downtown District. The Plan would replace the existing Bayside Specific Plan and any currently applicable standards from the 1984 General Plan. The Project will establish standards, strategies, and policies guided by the following concepts established in the LUCE and through the project's community outreach:
- Prioritize the pedestrian experience - maintaining and enhancing walkability
- Provide an attractive, efficient and user friendly multi-modal circulation network
- Preserve and enhance Downtown's basic urban form.
