Document Description
The project is the update of the City's Housing Element for the 2014-2021 planning period. The Housing Element is to provide suitable housing for all residents of Rosemead regardless of income, age, race, religion, gender or ethnic background. As required by State law, Rosemead identified programs within the Housing Element to meet its "fair share" of the existing and future housing needs. According to the Southern CA Association of Governments' Regional Housing Needs Assessment (RHNA), there is a need for an additional 602 units in the City between 2014-2021 period.
