The Project is limited to excavating within the bed and bank of Chualar Creek to remove a pressure control fitting (PCF) of Gas Transmission Line 187 (L-187). A straight piece of pipe will replace the PCF in L-187 to allow a pipeline inspection gauge (PIG) into the line for a hydrotest. Approximately 26.6 cubic yards of soil will be excavated and stockpiled within the work area located between Foletta Road and creek bank. Once the hydrotest is complete, the excavated, native soil will be placed back into the excavated area.
