Document Description
The proposed project is the update of the City's Housing Element for the 2014-2021 planning period. The purpose of the Housing Element is to provide suitable housing for all residents of Gardena regardless of income, age, race, religion, gender or ethnic background. The Housing Element sets forth the City's strategy, policies and programs to address the community's housing needs. Based on the Regional Housing Needs Assessment (RHNA), the City must be able to accommodate 397 housing units during the period.
