Document Description
The project proposes clean closure of the former Fallbrook 1C burn dump located in the community of Fallbrook within the unicorporated protion of the County of San Diego, California. Exposed and poorly capped burn debris and be removed, tranported, and disposed of to eliminate the threat to public health and safety, and to bring the site into compliance with State standard for inactive waste dispoal sites. Approximately 10,500 cubic yards of burn ash and affected materials will be removed from two County-owned parcels (APNs 105-481-45 and 105-481-36) and portions of two residential parcels (APNs 103-010-52 and 105-481-52), transported, and disposed of at an approved offsite location. After removal of the burn ash, the project site will undergo site restoration to re-establish grade and vegetation.
