Document Description
A proposal by the County of San Luis Obispo Department of Public Works (County) to replace the existing bridge on Branch Mill Road over Tar Spring Creek, in the southern area of San Luis Obispo County. The purpose of the Project is to replace the structurally deficient bridge, provide standard roadway widths, and adjust the roadway alignment. Branch Mill Road will be closed to the public for up to 5 months in order to construct the Project. A temporary bridge will be placed downstream of the current bridge to allow farm equipment and contractor access across the creek. The Project will result in the temporary disturbance of 2.19 acres and the permanent disturbance of approximately 1.4 acres. The project is located on Branch Mill Road, approximately 1,200 feet southwest of Huasna Road, east of the City of Arroyo Grande, in the South County Inland Planning Areak Supervisorial District 4.
