The Project is the approval of an acquisition of approximately 1.18 gross acres of vacant land located in the City of Oakland between Martin Luther King Jr. Drive and 53rd Street adjacent to State Route 24 currently owned by the State of California, Department of Transportation (Caltrans). The acquisition is critical for the full implementation of the Children's Hospital & Research Center Oakland Campus, Master Plan Project, as portions of the Project are to be constructed on the vacant land proposed to be acquired.
