Document Description
The proposed project would complete approximately 0.2 mile of the 1.82-mile Bay-to-Transit Trail between Caltrain's Hayward Park Station and South Delaware Street. The proposed path would consist of a 12-foot wide asphalt-paved path and painted center dividing line. Key features include: 1) Pedestrian-scale directed lighting on of 12-foot tall overhead lamp posts spaced every 50 feet along the pathway. 2)Bollard-type lighting and removable bollards to demarcate the trailheads at Hayward Park Station and South Delaware Street. 3) Landscaping with native low-water plants such as vines along the fences and various shrubs and low groundcovers elsewhere as shown in the project plans.
