Document Description
The project would transfer of the Schroeder Hall U.S. Army Reserve Center property from the U.S. Department of Defense to the City of Long Beach. After transfer, the City would relocate the existing Long Beach Police Department East Division Substation and Juvenile Investigations Section to the Schroeder Hall site. The project would include various minor improvements to the existing USARC facility. The project would provide the Police Department with an enhanced capacity to serve the eastern portion of the City, since the existing East Division Substation is undersized and has been identified as inadequate to serve the current needs of the city.
