Caltrans proposes to construct curb, gutter, and sidewalks within the highway right-of-way of SR 168 (West Line Street) within the unincorporated area of Inyo County, CA, between the PM 16.79 to 17.54. The sidewalk will be constructed along the north side of the highway from Barlow Lane (PM 16.79) to 0.2 mile east of See Vee Lane near the Bishop Care Center and the boundary of the City of Bishop (PM 17.54). The project proposes to construct a 6 foot wide sidewalk with curb from Barlow Lane to 0.1 mile west of Pioneer Lane. Paved shoulder width would be 8 feet wide for approximately 0.6 mile, from Barlow Lane to 0.1 mile east of See Vee Lane, and 13 feet wide for the remaining 0.1 mile to the end of the project.
