Document Description
The project proposes to demolish a vacant 23,113 sf commercial building and construct a three-story 101 room Hampton Inn on a 1.69 acre site. An existing four foot tall retaining wall along the east side of the property will be removed and a new eight foot tall retaining wall constructed approximately 20 feet into the existing slope to provide adequate parking and a required fire lane along the east side of the hotel. A swimming pool, Jacuzzi and fire pit are proposed in a ground level courtyard at the east side of the hotel. The courtyard and swimming pool will be separated from the adjacent parking area east of the building by a six foot wall. Landscaping will be provided adjacent to Marguerite Parkway, the slope along the east project boundary, and along all sides of the hotel. The project will provide 102 parking spaces, including handicap.
