Document Description
The Coachella Valley Water District proposes to construct a 100,000 gallon, domestic water storage reservoir immediately adjacent to existing Reservoir 4701. The proposed steel-tank reservoir will measure 41 feet in diameter and 15 feet in height, and will occupy a one-half acre site immediately south of existing Reservoir 4701, a 21,000 gallon steel tank. Fencing and landscaping will be installed along the perimeter of the project site. Reservoir 4701-2 will replace the two existing 10,000-gallon, temporary, plastic tanks currently located and in use at the Reservoir 4701 site; Reservoir 4701 will remain. The purpose of this project is to support domestic water service demands in the Sky Valley and Indio Hills service areas.
