Document Description
The purpose of the new Overlay is to provide standards and use regulations for equestrian and large animal operations for properties within the Overlay and to require best management practices in order to comply with water quality requirements that protect the water quality of natural water bodies, ground water and wetlands. The City's equestrian and large animal properties have a long history in the City that predates the City's incorporation. These amendments will preserve the City's rich rural and cultural equestrian heritage by bringing these properties into compliance with the Municipal Code and other applicable laws.
