Document Description
This prject involves the annual light to moderate intensity burning of grass for the purpose of training fire personnel in the North Region in the use of different firing and control techniques. The project area is located on a privately-owned ranch and is 150 acres of the 500 acre ownership. In addition to ranching, the property is used for a glider port and recreational flying. The vegetation type within the project area is oak savannah and dominated by grass. The topography of the project area is flat and the area has limited public access.
