Document Description
The Project proposes to develop final design to construct a new aqueous ammonia tank farm at the Weymouth plant and provide upgrades and modifications to the existing aqueous ammonia tank farm at the Mills plant. Construction activities at the Mills plant include modifications and upgrades to the existing aqueous ammonia tank farm and ammonia injection system. Piping construction associated with the new construction and modifications include: adding new chlorine gas lines and diaphragm valves; modifying chlorine ejectors; and relocating the chlorine diffuser. Work will also include modification to the plants' control systems, instrumentation, utility piping, chemical trenches, and chemical leak detection system.
