Document Description
The project is designed to stabilize a large rangeland gully to keep sediment from entering Ebabias Creek. A 20' high earthen grade control structure will stabilize the lowest 400' of active gully erosion. Gully flow will be diverted into a new channel on the adjacent terrace and into a sediment retention basin with 1,700 cubic yards capacity. Once the sediment has settled, flow will exit the basin to return to the gully. The new channel will be seeded with native grass, covered with erosion control blanket, and revegetated with native plants.
