Document Description
The project consists of replacing the Rio Linda; realigning Magpie Creek to allow for realigning Main Ave within the City's existing right-of-way to intersect with Rio Linda Blvd at a right angle; constructing left and right turn lanes from Main Ave onto Rio Linda Blvd, new crosswalks, access to the Northern Sacramento Bike Trail, and installation of a traffic signal. One through lane will be provided in each direction along Rio Linda Blvd with an additional receiving lane to accommodate the required dual left turns from Main Ave. The Rio Linda Blvd roadway profile will be raised slightly to provide the required hydraulic clearance. The Rio Linda Blvd Bridge replacement will require the overhead utilities along Main Ave and Rio Linda Blvd to be relocated.
