The California Department of Fish and Wildlife is executing a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the Project applicant, Alteration Agreement pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the Project applicant, Ashwood Construction Inc. The applicant proposes the relocation of the Dog Creek channel, construction of a new reinforced concrete box culvert for the Leonard Avenue crossing, and a new pedestrian trail between the new channel and Leonard Avenue; the channel is being relocated to accommodate future widening of Leonard Avenue, and increased flood water conveyance in Dog Creek. Approximately 104 linear feet of channel will be impacted on the west die of Leonard Avenue, and approximately 846 linear feet of channel will be impacted on the east side of Leonard Avenue.
