Document Description
The proposed project includes street, sidewalk and drainage improvements on Riverside Avenue between 13th Street and 17th Street. These improvements will contour Riverside Avenue to drain toward the west side of the street to bioswales that will be installed between the street and the sidewalk. Additionally, the project includes completing sidewalk improvements along the west side of the street. Thirty street trees will be installed as well as bioswale landscaping. Bike lanes will be striped on both sides of Riverside Avenue. The project also includes reconstruction of an existing concrete drainage swale that conveys storm water runoff from streets to the west of the project upstream to the Salinas River.
