Document Description
The new regenerative ion exchange Nitrate removal system will consist of four (4) pairs (eight total) of modular pressure vessel units with associated valves and piping. At any time, seven of the pressure vessels will be online treating water while the resin in the remaining pressure vessel is regenerated. When the regeneration of resin in one pressure vessel is completed, the vessel will be rotated into service and the next vessel will be temporarily taken offline for regeneration. The new equipment will use National Sanitation Foundation (NSF) approved union resins for the removal of Nitrate.
