The San Joaquin Apartments and Precinct Improvements Project will be located at the Santa Catalina Residence Hall on El Colegio and Stroke Roads (formerly known as Francisco Torres) at UCSB in Santa Barbara County. The Project will provide 2 to 3 story apartments and 5 to 6 story tower apartment style residential housing for approximately 1,000 new students along with additional housing for staff and faculty in conjunction with a new dining commons, a cafe, and a convenience store. There would be a 181-space surface parking lot and bicycle and pedestrian access. Recreational amenities would also be constructed.
