Document Description
The proposed project is the relocation of a portion of Willow Canal, which is to be relocated to the perimeter of APNs 038-050-067 and 038-050-012. The purpose of the proposed project is to facilitate the planting and maintenance of an almond orchard. The project does not include modifications to Moody Slough, except for construction of a new check structure allowing diversion of canal water into the slough and the replacement of the existing siphon under the slough. Work affecting Moody Slough, including construction of new facilities and removal of existing facilities, will require a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement under the authority of the CA Dept. of Fish and Wildlife. Work on the project started in advance of completion of the IS/MND.
