Document Description
Work is limited to the construction of a rock ford on an unnamed tributary to North Fork Feather River, that originates from a spring above the road. The flow shall be diverted around the crossing during construction. A four foot wide and two foot wide and two foot deep trench shall be constructed across the road (about 20 feet). The trench shall be backfilled with clean 12-18 inch native rock. The rock ford shall be constructed when the watercourse is dry, and shall be constructed using 12 to 18 inch or larger native rock. A travel surface of 2-4 inch, angular rock shall be spread over the ford to create a smooth running surface. A backhoe shall be used for construction.
